Smash Hit Review. Don’t Smash the Phone Screen
This is a somehow surreal action game that is physics-based, and your primary objective as a player is to use hard metal balls to break objects and glass panes. Other than just throwing balls at the virtual glasses, the app for all Android devices and iOS gadgets doesn’t involve any violence. So it can be played by both adults and kids. Here’s the full review of the app.
Graphics / Sound
The Google Play app for Android and App Store`s iOS version uses eye-catching graphics as well as high-quality animations, attributes that contribute to its addictiveness. Notably, the game imagery is in 3D that is ideal for the game. What’s more, accompanying the cool graphics is the game sounds and audio effects that have been musically synchronized with the gameplay. On graphics and sounds, the app gets a 10/10.
Interface and Controls
The features that I find appealing in this iOS and Android app is the user interface that is quite relatable. This makes it easier to navigate within the app, and within a few minutes after the installation, I was already smashing glasses. Additionally, the colors and clarity of the imagery are unmatched. What’s more, I find the controls to be quite straightforward, relatable and responsive. The intriguing user interface and simple controls are the tools that make the game convenient. Here, the score of the design is 10/10.
One of the key features of the game that makes it a must-have is the simple yet addictive gameplay. The game takes you through a journey in on otherworldly dimension where you are kept in harmony with music and sound as you smash every object that comes to your path. The game is free, but you’ll need to purchase Premium which goes for $1.99. With this in-app purchase, you get to enjoy smashing with an unlimited number of balls. 10/10.
Smash hit is replayable enough, addictive enough, and fun enough that I never mind restarting the game over and over. The game offers up to 50 levels which aren’t that short, and you’ll always want to play an additional game once done with the previous level. Its latest version also comes with bug fixes to enhance user experience. So it’s advisable that you update it and acquire the in-app purchase.
The game works with iOS devices, and it is also an app for all Android devices. It is compatible with Android mobile version 2.3 and over as well as iOS 6.0 upwards, which includes the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.
In this section, the app deserves a straight 9/10.
I believe Smash hit has all the features necessary for such a creative mobile game. It also works seamlessly on my Android device without any lags. Interestingly, the Google Android and the iOS game comes in several languages such as Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Korean, Japanese, German, Italian, French and English. The Premium in-app purchase is also affordable and gives value for my money. I would recommend the leading app to any mobile gaming enthusiast.
