8 Ball Pool: The Most Played Pool Simulator Ever
8 Ball Pool is a game for true strategists who can foresee where the ball rolls after each hit. It’s like the game of chess, but it’s much more difficult to predict the exodus. 8 Ball Pool mobile game by Miniclip offers you to play the classic European Pool and compete with over 600 million players worldwide.
Graphics/Sound – 10/10
8 Ball Pool is played from the top-down perspective, which is probably the best for setting the right angle. There is a considerable library of unlockable table skins with custom clothes and stylized sidings. The background is always colored in dark blue, which is perhaps the best choice. In addition, you can customize your billiard-cue, using exquisite overlays, metal toupees, and even luxurious incrustation. There’s no soundtrack in 8 Ball Pool, but the quality of hitting sounds is very high and natural. Developers recorded real sounds and mixed them to provide a realistic soundscape.
Interface and Controls – 10/10
The tournament menu has a neat design with easily readable fonts and convenient buttons. The gameplay interface displays the current wage in the middle, and scores of players on the left and on the right. The fading green outline around the player avatar shows how much time left until the end of the turn. Every ball you score goes to the pocket and hangs there until the end of the match. Although Pool is a difficult game, the controls in 8 Ball Pool are almost casual. You have to swipe the screen to rotate the billiard-cue to change the angle first. Then you should gently pull it to hit the ball with the proper torque.
Gameplay – 10/10
8 Ball Pool provides the best simulation of the most popular billiard game in the world. Moreover, it’s an exciting journey around the top billard capitals. The campaign includes matches in Tokyo, New York, London, Moscow, Sydney, Texas, Las Vegas, Jakarta, Toronto, Cairo, Dubai, Shanghai, Paris, Rome, Seoul, and many more. Every location involves unique tables and cue designs, along with new challenges to pass. You can play the solo campaign against NPCs or enter the multiplayer lounge to compete for 1v1 in 8-player tournaments in every city on the map. It’s an opportunity to win golden cups or exclusive billiard-cues.
Besides, you can organize your own home events and invite other players to take part in quick matches or tournaments on custom tables. Every 1v1 set brings coins to the winner. you can use them to get into higher leagues, buy new items in the store, and raise your average wages.
Lasting Appeal – 10/10
8 Ball Pool provides you with unlimited opportunities for matchmaking. You can take part in hundreds of events every month, revenge if you lose, and challenge your Facebook friends. You’re not supposed to pay to make in-game wages, so it’s not dangerous to lose.
My tests of 8 Ball Pool took 7 days, and I found nothing that can disapprove 8 Ball Pool’s status of the number-one Pool game on Google Play and Play Market. It has the biggest player base, the most realistic gameplay, and excellent quality of visuals. What else do we need?
